So this weekend was Dallin's birthday. He is a neighbor.... He is the big 24... so we made him a cake
We wrote, Happy Birthday Dal-face, because that is his nickname. And he loves it, but wont admit it... ever.

And then we went bowling to celebrate. I didn't do so hot, but it's okay. We still had fun.

And then on Saturday night, we had a sleepover in the living room. Jenna and I pulled out our mattresses and watched a movie... plus we had the bouch. It was good bonding time. We are going to make it a tradition on Saturday night, so we can chill on Sunday and take our naps together! Brilliant! So we did the same thing on Sunday night, only this time I was harassing them with pictures, it was pitch black and i was taking these pictures....
Zac feels like a roomie because he hangs out with us all the time. We just have a good time, I will pop my zits in front of him and that makes him feel like a roommate.

Oh we also made a fort. So fun.

Halloween

Halloween morning Dallin called me 3 times. I didn't answer. On the 4th try I finally picked up with my morning voice... it was important.. our ward needed more girls to play volleyball in the Stake volleyball tournament. We were the champs (or 3 wards). It was a good time. I would have loved to play volleyball in HS. Next Saturday we have to prove ourselves in the institute tournament. I love it here because we are always playing sports or in the mountains.

We played soccer later in the day, after we went and cheered on the cross country team. I do not miss running in races. That's for sure. But our cc team is legit. It was a fun day... but we didn't quit then. At night we went to the Sheep tunnels in town. The boys tried to scare us, you have to let yourself be scared. We didn't dress up because we did that Thursday and Friday night.

We got home and Zac was walking down his stairwell and he bumped a pumpkin with his butt and it went rolling down our stairwell. Before we knew it, all the boys were smashing them down the stairs. We probably had all the pumpkins in Stadium Way in out doorway. haha

But they were nice and they cleaned it up. They had so much fun, and I admit now that it was hilarious. That night when they went to bed, we got the bags of pumpkins from the dumpster and put them in their stairwell. Their reaction on Sunday morning was pretty funny. We cleaned it up for them because we are just nice like that.

Snow and Halloween?!

So it snowed this week. Jenna and I came home from school and bundled up so we could go play. Dad gave a a perfect snowball maker that he found in the garage. It's amazing. Anyway, we were making a huge pile... and Dallin and Ryno came home from school... they ended throwing them at all the neighbors and we had a little snowball fight. It was fun, but super cold. I can't believe its already snow weather.... it's not even Halloween yet!

Then we had our ward Halloween party. It was a blast. The roomies and I were conversation hearts. It turned out better than I thought. I did make most of them... I made them cut out their own letters! It was one of the best ward parties I have been to. We had lots of fun.

But we didn't win for the best group costume... it's all good... because the boys in apt 19 won and their costumes were legit! The Price is Right! haha So cool. I was teasing them all week, they wouldn't tell me what they were going to be, but I knew they would come over needing help, or something! But they proved me wrong and did it all by themselves!

Pumpkin carving

So we carved pumpkins to decorate our stairs with the boys in 19. I did an owl... no surprises... right? I didn't get a good picture of it at night, but here it is...

And Tajia's sweet pumpkin. So legit. I love that she lives so close... she stayed Sunday and Monday night... after we got back from Provo. We always have so much fun together. She is such a gem.
And then here are all of the kids. All of them turned out so legit. It was a good time.

I'm staying busy. Especially with church stuff... I have to teach Sunday School this Sunday. I hope a lot of people are going home for Halloween. Doubt it! And it is snowing... everything is covered... I can't believe this. Its going to be a long winter!

This weekend, Amanda and I went up north to American Fork with Jenna... her hometown. Michelle lives in Provo, and she was home. And Ashley was home in Nephi... so she drove up to come to a haunted house with us. So fun. Brought back memories. They made me go first and it made it even better! I had a good time.

We made a quick trip... but it was fun to stay at Jenna's house and meet her whole entire family. haha Next stop.... Vegas. We got back to Cedar on Monday because we didn't have school. Only in Southern Utah... do you get a day off school for Hunting season. I'm not complaining. That night we hiked up the mountain and started a fire. So random, I love it. It was Ashley, Amanda, Marina, me and Royce. And we rosted carmel squares. haha

And then as of yesterday... our apartment became the place where all the sick people hang out. We don't know if they have Swine Flu or what is going on... They have the symptoms (I act like I know... I don't... I have 2 future nurses living with me) Anyway, we can't shun them... so we just Clorox everything.

Our dryer broke. It wasn't good. They got it fixed... what I relief. And watch out.... I learned how to Crochet! Royce taught me. So I made a cell phone cover. Maybe when I'm legit I'll make something cool. Its so fun. And I've been sewing quilts because I remembered how to make triangles. I don't know how I forgot! I'll have to post pics later.

Cardboard never looked so good....

Here are the pictures from my 3-D Design class. We made chairs out of cardboard and glue. It had to support our body weight. I kept mine pretty simple... looks like an everyday chair. I'm excited to paint it and put it in our living room.

Here are some other really good ones from my class, this one is a surfboard. Cant really see the details she added, but its cool in person!

Thought his was an interesting solution...

This wheelchair actually moves! Pretty legit! She used cardboard tubes... who would have thought?

And magazine holders... like the modern look...

So yeah, that is all. There were many others, but I was kinda creeping with the pictures. I would do something totally different if I were to do it again. But I'm just glad its over!

This weekend was legit. A bunch of us went rappelling on Saturday.... Royce just came over and said he was bored, so he wanted to go rappelling. I was like, "How do I pass this up?" He said, "You don't!" And you better believe, I was there! It was so much fun, I haven't been since girls camp, it was Jenna's first time... and she went down the mountain like a champ! I did a few 360's and had fun, it was a good time.

Here's Zac and Dallin strapping me in....

Going down....

Jenna and I at the top....

So we finish rappelling and we get back to the apartments... and Kevin had the idea to go hiking, because the day wasn't over! So we round up some more people and drive back up the canyon. We started hiking along this river. Jenna sprained her ankle jumping on rocks, so a car full of kids went home. I ended up staying and messing around. This is Ashley, Kylie, Royce and I... throwing our gang sign- "N" for north side... since we hiked on the north side of the river.

I get really competitive.. especially with boys. I blame it on my soccer days as a child when I was the only girl on the team. Anyways, we kept crossing the river... even though it wasn't necessary, walking on tree logs, climbing on rocks, jumping off rocks. So everything Royce did, I would have to do. It definitely made the hike better, because I'm not a big fan of hiking. Here is Royce jumping... I did it too... but my picture wasn't as cool....

And lastly, here is the group that stayed til the end... thank goodness for a self timer.

We had a blast, but poor Jenna and her ankle! We need to go again when her ankle heals!
